Sweet sweet Jaida Kate (cakes), as sweet as sweet can be.
I've always enjoyed that "fresh" feeling as you leave the hairdressing salon, your hair luxuriously cleansed, cut and styled. A feeling of light weightlessness as you swish it around and walk with an air of new found confidence out the door!
Well once again it was time for my little princess to have her wild and unruly curls at the back of her hair tamed. Something I had been putting off (since her last cut in April (oh my)), those delightful baby curls (otherwise noted as bird nest hair and at times resembling dreadlocks too!) My main concern that once they (those masses of curls) underwent the sharpened scissors, it would be another chapter of her ever growing childhood gone too fast!
Thankfully we have a wonderful hairdresser for our precious baby/toddler/preschool hair and with the start of the school holidays, an appointment was made to freshen up the Bourke children! Caleb's familiar sporting style is short on top with stegosaurus spikes and sweet sweet Jaida cakes, well it was goodbye with the old and hello to the new! I'm quite biased of course, but I think she still looks super cute!
Brushing her hair has been soft and manageable again and much to our delight, those little ringlets of curls at the back still spring up and down!
