Who was Mary Kay Ash?
Born: May 12, 1915, Died: November 22, 2001 Mary Kay Ash was the founder of Mary Kay cosmetics. She had a strong belief in people and was a very successful business woman. She provided opportunities for woman by creating Mary Kay cosmetics and setting up an independent sales force. She was a role model and an inspiration to the woman who sold her products. For her P&L meant “people and love” rather than “profit and loss”. Perhaps one of the reasons for her success was due to the fact that she truly believed in people and provided not only a product but she also provided encouragement and inspiration to those that worked with her.
