The pattern includes 2 design options and I was asked to sew a Size 7, Option A, whereby the bodice and skirt are built in panels. There was 1 main front panel, 2 front side panels, 2 back side panels and 2 back panels. It is lined until the waist and has an open back style.
My first challenge was to find enough fabric in my stash to fit all the pattern pieces. The side panels are full lengths and built into the bodice as well. I needed nearly 3 yards to make this dress. I found all the instructions quite clear to comprehend and I just loved how this style came together.

Then Miss B and I went out to take some photos ... She loved the dress!
The dress is a full circle skirt, lots of twirl factor!
The open style at the back is beautiful!
My Princess having a bit of fun!
So if you'd like to try this pattern, head on over to Lily Bird Studio on ETSY, I was honoured to have one of my photos used on the designer's website to advertise the pattern!
P.S. Sizes 2 through to 10! That's right, something beautiful for our older girls!
