Once there was train there, a tale of two boys lost in their imaginations

Our summer holidays have been filled with fond moments of catching up with friends before we embark on our new adventure of starting school.

Caleb spent a wonderful morning at the Sound-shell park and surrounding bushland entranced in imaginary play with his friend Brodie (another kindred soul). For a few hours the boys were entranced and lost within their imaginary minds of trains and adventures on an abandoned train line. They did not venture near the slides and monkey bars, a lonely track disappearing into the realms of grass and bush, and a dusty station of days gone by provided all that they needed to be entertained with, taking turns to be the driver and passenger of steam and electric trains that whizzed along in their minds.

Their train whistles echoed across the gum trees that warm, humid morning - two boys, two friends, two minds, these are the times we remember!
