Sunday Sewing - Amelia Top

Amelia Top from Frog Legs and Ponytails using Optic Blossom in Linen and Martini in Mustard from Amy Butler's Midwestern Range (this material was fabulous and I've had my eye on it for a while!)

I made a size Medium but took some off the width and added some to the length. I also made the tie a little longer as I'm quite broad across the shoulders and know when I put on Jaida's Caroline dress (for fun) the tie wasn't really long enough for me!

Its' going to be lovely for summer (although I would happily team it with a long sleeved top underneath and pants for these cooler days!) I think with added length, it would make a lovely dress as well!

Beautiful Mel and looking at all your new AB fabric makes me want more!! I had to laugh at the bottom pic, I did the same (left the safety pin in the tie when I took my pics LOL) so eager to try it on hehehe

Thanks girls, it has been so incredibly comfortable to wear, I can't wait to make another one! ... and yes Vik, I laughed to myself and thought "blonde moment", I was just so excited!

this looks fantastic!

Went to buy one on esty but currently sold out. As soon as they re-stock (which I hope they will) I plan on whipping one up. The AB fabric looks great.

PS found your link through EB (flipflop)
