Sweet Little Dress

Well I've had my little stockpile from I love a bargain, a tale of thrifty finds awaiting my crafty little fingers, with winter upon us, its' a time I love to start layering clothing on the children. I had been thinking that a cute little tunic or peasant dress on Jaida would look great layered with a long sleeved top and leggins', but a quick "google" really didn't amount to anything that captured my interest. One of the EB Sewing Girls (thanks Jen) had used this funky Sweet Little Dress pattern from leilaandben's etsy store, so I couldn't resist and made my first Etsy purhcase (this could be very dangerous) it was so easy and the pattern arrived within 24 hours and in an easy printable PDF format, with colour photographic instructions too! *hehe*

Well what a gorgeous little dress and so easy to sew, definitely within the capabilities of a novice sewer like myself.

Jaida was very excited to have a new dress to wear and with arms opened wide, is hugging me and thanking me greatly for her beautiful new dress .. In her words .. "I love my beautiful new dress Mummy, thank you so much for making it for me!" ... Little Princess ... LOL
