With my work for Term 2 coming to an end in the next week or so (as the Term winds down) I thought it was time to prepare for my "zen" holiday time - the oneness and ability to make my sewing time really special.
As many of you know, I'm happiest when I have a project going, whether it be scrapping or sewing, or something in the garden.
With the long weekend here upon us in Victoria, I thought it an ample opportunity for a quick trip to Spotlight Shepparton to immerse myself in a bit of a fabric hunt and see what "caught" my eye! What better way to spend an overcast, chilly, raining Saturday, than to surround yourself with colourful fabrics!
I had been out last week to seek some fabric, in hand with the Michael Miller Child's apron, no fabric inspired that of which was already on the page! I may have to order that "cupcake" fabric especially in to satisfy that need!
A few fabrics caught my attention, the prints more so. So armed with a metre or two of some of them, I now have to decide what I will utilise them for!
Should be you in the EB Bag Swap Challenge, sadly you will not find a giveaway of fabric amongst this pile! That I'm still seeking the right choice for the bag I have in mind *hehehe*

Mel, what is the EB sewing bag swap??
And I love your fabric choices... you've inspired me to pull out the sewing machine and whip up something for Annie... I have a skirt or two in mind... Annie has fairy princess dresses in mind... might have to compromise or just do both! x
